I Live in East Germany (the wall etc.) And in 1988,
I got hold of my first computer the Plus4. Having a computer in Germany at
this time was a privilege and the Plus4 was my first steps in the computer
world.
About 6 years later I got my first PC, a 486 with 80Mhz !!!. The days before Windows
;-)
Back in the summer of 1999 I found a great way to emulate old computers and arcade
machines on PC. It was very funny to see these old games again running on my
new PIII450Mhz and this started my Retrogaming past time :-)
I then found a webpage with a plan to build a (XE1541) cable !!! This was great stuff
as 10 years ago I had sorted out over 900
of my Plus4 games to run with out any startup codes, so all my games start
with "run" !!! And compressed all the games with a new loader which made
them very small. So I started to translate all my old Plus4 games over to my PC.
The Plus4 was alive again, now on my PC running Winemu and Minus4. I have sent
Lando loads and loads of my C16/Plus4 games and many of them you will find on this site
along with some rare titles :-)
